Meet Dr. Griffiths

A Note From Me

Hello! My name is Alexa Griffiths, and I’m a Pediatric Dentist. I am excited to be joining the wonderful team at Tiny Teeth of Dublin and look forward to meeting the families of the Columbus community. I feel truly honored to be part of your child’s dental journey. What I find special about pediatric dentistry is the opportunity to care for my patients from the very beginning, helping them feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair while teaching them the skills and healthy habits they need for a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Working experience

Dr. Griffiths always knew she wanted to become a pediatric dentist. She remembers the thoughtful care and positive experiences she had with her own pediatric dentist, who helped inspire her career path. Dr. Griffiths earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Community Health before receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. She then completed a two-year specialty residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, where she trained at both Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and MetroHealth Hospital System in Cleveland, Ohio.

My Passion

Dr. Griffiths is grateful for the many experiences that shaped her during residency, particularly the opportunity to care for children in both clinical and hospital settings. Her training reinforced the importance of providing quality care and helping children develop healthy habits from an early age that will last a lifetime. In the dental chair, she loves getting to know her patients, learning about their unique personalities and interests, and helping them feel comfortable and confident. She takes great joy in guiding children through anxious moments and celebrating the little wins along the way, whether it’s seeing a child feel more at ease during a visit or watching them overcome a fear they once had.

Life Outside Of Work

Outside of the office, Dr. Griffiths loves spending time outdoors, from walks through local parks to enjoying time with friends over a game of tennis or pickleball. A true lover of winter, she looks forward to ski season each year and embraces the snowy months. She also enjoys cooking, reading, and exploring the Columbus food scene.

Dr. Griffiths is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Ohio Dental Association (ODA).
